The short version

Tennessee Property Search has no accounts, sign-ups or forms, and it sets no cookies of its own. It is paid for by ads from Google AdSense, and Google uses cookies to show and measure those ads. You can turn off personalized ads at any time (see Advertising below).

What we collect when you visit

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes the technical details every website receives: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time. Short-lived request logs (kept for a few days) are used only to fix problems. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to tell people from automated attacks.

We count traffic in aggregate (which pages are visited, roughly which country, and what kind of browser or app) to see how the site is used. Those counts do not include IP addresses and are not used to identify anyone. If we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, it does not use cookies.

What you type into the search box is sent to the site to run the search. It is not tied to you, stored in a profile or sold.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors' personalized-ad cookies at aboutads.info. How Google uses information from sites that use its services explains what Google collects. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

Property records on this site

Owner names, property addresses, values and sale history come from public government records: county property assessors, Metro Nashville and the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury. We do not collect them from visitors. If a record is wrong, ask the county assessor of property to correct it; this site picks up the change the next time it refreshes from the source.

API and AI agents

The public API and MCP server need no key or account. Requests to them are handled the same way as page visits: counted in aggregate and kept in short-lived logs. Pages and data sent to apps and AI agents carry no ads.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
